About Me

I love all things crafty. I sew, make journals, create brooches, and jewelry. I love recycling fabric and old sweaters into new creations. It is a lot of fun and I enjoy it immensly.

I only wear sterling jewelry.

On the personal side, I love the beach, nature, taking pictures, reading and enjoying life in general.

Favorite Music

I like most of the old school singers and always have. Bette Midler, Rod Stewart, Tony Bennett, Michael Bouble, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, etc.

Favorite Books

I used to love only biographies and true crime, but am learning to appreciate fiction more and more. I also have a love of old (vintage) gardening books and craft books.

Favorite Movies

My all time fav is Circle of Friends with Chris O'Donnell and Minnie Driver. I also loved the message movie Boys in the Hood. I like mostly comedies and dramas and watch DVDs often while I craft.

Favorite Crafts

What crafts don't I do would be easier. I make journals, greeting cards jewelry from vintage necklaces, brooches using fabric, crochet and vintage felted sweaters, tote bags, fabric postcards. Last night I took a beginner's origami class and I think I have a new love. I am also going to take a calligraphy class when I find one. I consign all of my creations. The tote bags seem to be the most popular.

Favorite Television

I loved Will and Grace and also love 2 1/2 Men. It is too funny. I like cold Case and the various news magazines.

Comment: Cindy, The felt pin was so ME! It goes right over my heart on my chunky fisherman sweater. I absolutely adore it - and my friends all do, too. But they aren't getting it - no way! LOL. And thank you so much for the altered art pin. My oldest two daughters have designs on it. It looks really nice on my denim jacket!
