| This is a fun technique and pretty simple. It involves embossing on a piece of aluminum tape, and coloring it with alcohol inks. See This Video. In the video, Terry Sproul uses a stamp on the paper side of the tape, but you can tape an image to the paper side or draw something. You will then emboss it with a stylus or you could use a ball point pen. This tape is thin, so you don't want to press too hard. You can find this tape in a hardware store, in the roofing section. As she said in the video, it's pretty cheap and I can see myself using it a lot around Christmas! I did a Skinny using metal tape for wings, which you can see here . In the example above, I rubbed some Stickles on the dyed flower, and the background is a dyed baby wipe. One ATC for one partner. | |
