Take a plastic container ( like one Stampin Up stamps come in) that has a lid & is large enough to hold a 5 1/4 x 4 piece of glossy cardstock or you can use it already cut for an ATC. Use a small piece of double sided tape & put it on the backside of the glossy cardstock & tape down on the inside of the lid glossy side up. I used this piece on a card but, will also cut it down to ATC size which is what we are making here. On the inside of the container, you will put one to 3 drops of re-inker or any liquid paint & 10 or 12 marbles. Close the lid & move the container around to ink the marbles. I moved it around for about 5 seconds. Turn the container over & move it around again. The ink on the marbles will transfer to the glossy cardstock. Do this one more time with another color of re-inkers that goes well with your first color. I did wipe off the marbles before doing the next color. Let the inked cardstock dry & then use it for making an ATC. Finish the ATC any way you want just make sure some of your background shows. Add a sturdy backing & your Swap bot info. Mail in a protective sleeve. I even inked smaller scrap pieces that I will use with a punch. |
