Make a zine and include some of your photographs in it.

You could showcase a random selection of your photos, or follow a theme, or it could be a zine about a particular topic illustrated with your photographs, or use your photos to tell a story. You decide how you'd like to present your photos.

Your photos can be everyday snapshot-style photos—no need to be a great photographer.

Send a copy of your zine to your partner (keep your original), or send an original, your choice.

The style of zine structure is up to you. I expect most of us will probably do a one-page folded zine.

Apologies for making this USA/CAN but international postage is almost $4 in Canada (still under $2 for US postage) so I'm cutting back on hosting international swaps, sorry. If someone would like to host an international version of this swap on SPCP that would be wonderful.

Any style of zine, most people will probably do a typical one-page folded (mini) zine. Use whatever style you like to do.

You can print the photos on your printer or in the photo kiosks (like Walmart has).

I like to keep the method of making the photo zine loosely-goosey so makers can have more creative options and can enjoy the process that suits them best.

My favourite method is to make a one-page folded mini zine digitally. I like to use PowerPoint to make my zines.

Tip: When you open the template in Canva, also go to Settings and click on "Show rulers and guides".
