Dearest Society Members,

You are cordially invited to the Paper Secrets Society’s second installment of the Anderson Archives—this time, we take up temporary residence at the opulent and mysterious Grand Budapest Hotel. Within these pastel pink halls, tales of loyalty, mischief, pastry theft, and stolen paintings unfold in the most stylish of ways.

Your mission is to create a single, splendid piece of ephemera inspired by the aesthetic, characters, or chaotic charm of The Grand Budapest Hotel. Channel the bold colors, detailed uniforms, vintage travel tags, ornate flourishes, or enigmatic Monsieur Gustave himself!

Swap Requirements

• Create one themed item, no smaller than an ATC (2.5" x 3.5"), in any medium—paper, fabric, plastic, collage, mixed media, or even something sculpted or stitched

• Your piece must reflect the vibe and visual language of the film: think candy-colored elegance, mid-century maps, concierge stamps, lobby keys, or Mendl’s pastries.

Optional Add-ons (it is always ok to use the optional items as a prompt for your craft):

• A vintage-style hotel tag or room key

• A tiny luggage label, boarding pass, or fake mustache

• A miniature wanted poster or society card from the League of Key Holders

• A note “from the concierge’s desk” to accompany your item
