I hope it is naked .. a postcard has more character after it has been stamped, written on and gone through the handling of two postal administrations (if it goes abroad)

I have been sending postcards for a while now. I am not sure why we call the stamped/written/sent postcards "naked."

Maybe cause it has no envelope lol?

I have lost stamped cards twice in the last month. If I have to send overseas it costs the same either way...I'd rather send it in an envelope...JMHO.
